Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations

At the heart of the matter is a permit the Department of Natural Resources issued to Dennis Gessling for construction of a CAFO approximately two miles from Arrow Rock.  The Missouri Parks Association, the Village of Arrow Rock, and Friends of Arrow Rock filed the lawsuit.  This construction permit expired on August 30th without the CAFO ever being built.
