Chrysler Variance Petition
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources invited the public to review and offer written comments on a variance petition that would give Chrysler Group LLC an exemption from managing a specific type of waste as hazardous under state regulations. The public comment period ended Dec. 14, and a public hearing on the variance petition was held at the Dec. 17 commission meeting. The commission voted to approve Chrysler's variance petition.
