Dear Water Protection Forum Stakeholders

I wanted to remind you of our Aug. 20, 2008 Water Protection Forum.  We are preparing a program of useful and informative presentations on the water challenges confronting Missouri. 

As with every Forum, there will be an opportunity for you to help set the agenda for our advisory groups in 2008 and 2009.  We want to hear from you what matters most to your water system and your clients.

To start that process off, we need a complete inventory of the opportunities, risks and challenges that we are facing in both the drinking water and wastewater areas.  Below is a beginning inventory, but I know there are more.  Please take a look and suggest your  additions to the list. 

Once we compile all the issues, we will discuss them all at the Forum on August 20 and then prioritize the most important ones.  Safe Drinking Water and Clean Water issues will be prioritized separately.  I appreciate you taking the time to offer your suggestions.

Please send your suggestions and RSVP to cwforum@dnr.mo.gov by July 1.
