The map above shows the locations of the wells that are currently part of the groundwater level network. By clicking on the well symbols you can view and obtain various types of information. Some wells have been part of the network for many years while others have been added more recently.

The observation wells are equipped with instruments that collect and store groundwater-level data. The data are transmitted from the field every four hours through the GOES weather satellite system. The data are stored in the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) ADAPS system, and are easily accessible through the USGS web site. This web site does not contain detailed instructions. First time users are encouraged to read the instructions before looking at real-time data.
