JEFFERSON CITY, MO., OCT. 26, 2009 -- In an effort to ensure that the public has an opportunity to provide input regarding services in state parks and historic sites, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources invites you to bring your ideas to an informational meeting on Sunday, Nov. 1 at Robertsville State Park in Robertsville. The meeting will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Shelter Day-Use Area and is open to the public.
Representatives from the park will provide information on future plans for the park and answer questions. Visitors are invited to share comments and suggestions about the park. Refreshments will be served. Based partially on previous comments and input from the public, the department completed a renovation of the campground dump station tower in March.
Robertsville State Park is located five miles east of Interstate 44 at Robertsville, on Highway O in Franklin County. People requiring special services or accommodations to attend the meeting can make arrangements by calling the park directly at 636-257- 3788 or by calling the department toll free at 800-334-6946 (voice) or 800-379-2419 (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf).
