What We Need From You
When you e-mail us please provide us with the following:

- Your profession or connection to river related issues
- E-mail address
What You Need to Know
- CRITICAL! Please check the Web site prior to traveling to a workshop. We will post any schedule changes here and need you to confirm the workshop is still occurring. Due to the number of workshops and the tight schedule of workshops, we are unlikely to be able to contact each person when a workshop is canceled or re-scheduled.
- Specific written directions to each site will be provided on the website a few weeks prior to a workshop. A good map of the area is also recommended (you can search and print maps for free on the net using MapQuest).
- You must be 18 years old to attend the workshop. This stipulation is the result of the insurance situation required to operate with the public on open waterways.
- Please dress appropriately. A good portion of the workshop will be held outside regardless of weather. Please check the weather forecast. We will be in and out of smaller boats and walking on the shore, so outdoor type clothing is recommended.
- The workshops involve moving around the river as a group in smaller boats and as a result we cannot easily arrange for anyone to leave early. Please plan on attending the whole day (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
- While the workshops are provided at no charge and include lunch, a minor donation to help offset the cost of the noon meal is always appreciated.
- Only folks who are registered can attend the workshops (drop-ins create havoc for our planning!) Please let us know if you cannot attend the workshop, as we often have a waiting list.
- You can contact us at the last minute (the day of the event) by calling Tammy Becker at (309) 236-0725 and feel free to call Bryan Hopkins at 800-361-4827 if you have any questions.
Please note: The workshops can involve possible bumpy boat rides, negotiating significant steps in and out of the smaller boats, rapid changes in weather and some modest hikes on uneven terrain. If you require special needs or would like further information on the physical nature of these workshops please contact Bryan Hopkins at 800-361-4827.
